Worth being direct about, because it changes what to expect from us.
Vapesoko is online only. There is no in-store shopping, and customers cannot visit. No counter, no walk-in hours, nowhere to come and browse. Everything goes out by rider or courier.
That is deliberate. Every shilling that would go into a shopfront, a till and floor staff goes into stock depth and riders instead, so the full catalogue reaches everyone rather than only whoever happens to be near a particular street. A Kilimani order and a Kasarani order get the same range.
It also means you never have to be seen walking out of a vape shop, which a fair number of our customers quietly prefer.

A note on the Nairobi window, because we would rather set it honestly than impress you and then miss. Typically 15 to 90 minutes is a range, not a promise. Where you are, what the traffic is doing on Mombasa Road at five o'clock, and whether you order at eleven in the morning or eleven at night all move it. Fifteen minutes happens. So does ninety. We will not quote a flat hour, because nobody can deliver a flat hour across Nairobi and mean it.
Outside Nairobi, we count in business days, not hours. A Saturday order for Kisumu moves on the next business day, not overnight.
Free delivery over KSh 2,000
Delivery within Nairobi is free on orders over KSh 2,000. That is the figure, and it applies to the order value.
Most single purchases already clear it. Every sealed disposable we stock sits above the threshold on its own: the ELFBAR BC10000 at KSh 2,500, the Tugboat T12000 at KSh 2,800, the Tugboat Evo Pro 15000 and ELFBAR Ice King 30000 at KSh 3,000, and the ELFBAR Ice King Pro 40000 and Trio 40000 at KSh 3,500.
Bottles are where it is worth thinking. A single ELFLIQ 10ml at KSh 800 or a BAR Salts 10ml at KSh 700 will not reach it alone, so when restocking liquid it pays to buy two or three at once, or add a 30ml bottle at KSh 2,000. Replacement pods and coils are the other easy way to top up, and you will want them eventually anyway.
How to order
- Choose your products on the site. Prices shown are what you pay.
- Check out with your delivery details. Give a phone number the rider can actually reach, and a landmark rather than just an estate name. "Gate opposite the Total, block C" saves everyone fifteen minutes.
- Confirm your order. We verify age before dispatch for new customers.
- Pay by M-Pesa or cash. M-Pesa on confirmation, or cash to the rider on delivery. No card is required at any stage.
- A rider is assigned and heads out. In Nairobi, typically 15 to 90 minutes from that point.
Outside Nairobi, the same steps apply, with a courier in place of a rider and the timings in the table above.
What happens after you order
You will hear from us to confirm the order and address before anything moves. For a Nairobi order, the rider normally calls when close, so keep your phone to hand.
Riders carry your order sealed. They are not carrying a catalogue, so a device you decided you wanted after ordering is a second order, not a swap at the door.
Upcountry, you get courier confirmation and can track from there. Business days only, and a public holiday moves the clock.
If the rider cannot reach you
This is the single most common cause of a slow delivery, and it is almost always fixable in a phone call.
- Phone off or unanswered: the rider waits, then calls our team. If we cannot reach you, the order goes back, and we contact you to rebook. Nothing is lost, but the clock restarts
- Wrong or vague address: call and correct it while the rider is still moving. A pin on WhatsApp beats a description
- You cannot come down: tell us when you order. We can hold a dispatch until a time that suits rather than send a rider to a closed gate
- Gated estates and offices with reception: riders generally cannot pass reception without you clearing them. Leave a name at the desk, or plan to come down
- Nobody 18 or over is there to receive it: we will not hand the order to anyone else. Rebook
Payment
M-Pesa and cash only. Both are straightforward.
No card is required. You do not need a bank card, you do not enter card details on our site, and there is no card machine at the door. If anyone claiming to be us has asked you for card details, that was not us.
Cash on delivery means exactly that: you pay the rider when the order is in your hand. Having close to the right amount helps, because a rider on a bike is not carrying a float.
Age verification, and what the rider may ask
We sell to adults of 18 and over.
We verify age before dispatch for new customers, so the check happens before a rider is assigned rather than as an awkward moment at your gate. On top of that, our riders may ask for ID on delivery. Have something to hand on a first order.
If you cannot produce ID, or the person at the door is not the customer and cannot verify their age, the rider will not hand the order over. Arguing will not change it. Rebook and it goes out again.

Nairobi and the immediate surrounds are served by rider on the 15 to 90 minute typical window: Westlands, Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Lavington, Karen, Langata, South B and South C, Embakasi, Donholm, Buruburu, Kasarani, Roysambu, Ruaka, Kiambu Road, Thika Road, Ngong Road, the CBD, Upper Hill and the estates around them.
