The complete Nord 5 kit includes its listed pod and supplied RPM 3 coils. For replacement purchases, the empty Nord 5 pod and RPM 3 coils are separate parts.
A reusable pod body needs a compatible coil to operate. Empty replacement bodies and separate coils are different purchases; retain an existing serviceable part when replacing the other.
The pod and the coil
The pod is the Nord 5 pod, five millilitres, side-filled, and it is on Replacement Pods. The coil is an RPM 3, which is a distinct family from the RPM and RPM 2 that came before it, and it is on Replacement Coils.
Nord, RPM, RPM 2 and RPM 3 are separate SMOK pod-coil families. Nord 5 uses RPM 3 coils; Nord, original RPM and RPM 2 coils do not fit its RPM 3 pod. Check the exact coil marking and use its marked operating range.
The Nord 5 uses RPM 3 coils at 0.15Ω or 0.23Ω. Both are intended for DTL use within their respective marked power bands. Match liquid ratio and nicotine concentration to the exact coil and device guidance rather than resistance alone.
Liquid choice for the RPM 3 coils
Lower-nicotine freebase liquids, commonly 3mg/ml or 6mg/ml, are used in higher-power DTL setups with a supported VG/PG ratio. Follow the exact RPM 3 coil and device guidance. Avoid high-strength nicotine salts in high-power DTL use; this is a power-and-compatibility warning, not a universal rule about every nicotine-salt formulation.
Compare individual bottles in Nasty Juice, Ultimate Juice 120ml and Doozy E-Liquids 100ml by their VG/PG ratio and final nicotine concentration. Doozy includes a 50/50 Pod Fill exception; adding nicotine shots does not by itself establish compatibility with the fitted RPM 3 coil. Use a liquid supported by the exact coil and device guidance.
A 5ml pod at eighty watts empties fast. That is worth planning around when you decide how much liquid to order at a time.
Power, screen and airflow
Five to eighty watts on two buttons, with a 0.69-inch OLED reporting wattage, battery, resistance and a puff count. Airflow is a sliding switch feeding dual inlets on the side.
The cell is 2000mAh and sealed, so Batteries is not a page this kit needs. That shelf serves the mods here that run removable cells, and this is not one of them.
What actually ends a coil
Coil life varies with liquid, power and use. Keep the fitted RPM 3 coil supplied with liquid, use its marked band and replace it if a burnt taste persists.
Inspect the pod, seals and fitted coil when performance changes. Replace the damaged part; a persistently burnt coil can be replaced separately from an undamaged reusable pod.
