Two hundred and twenty watts is the highest output in this catalogue. You supply suitable cells and choose replacement coils for the tank actually fitted. The iTank family discussed here uses VAPORESSO GTi; VAPORESSO GTX and Eleaf GTL are different platforms and are not substitutes.
Get those two right, and the rest is straightforward.
The cells
Two 21700 cells, or two 18650 on the adapter that comes with it. Neither is supplied. Buy them as a matched pair (same manufacturer, same model, same age) and keep them together for the life of the pair.
The Armour Max manual specifies at least 25A per cell. Vapcell publishes P42A at 30A continuous discharge. At an assumed 3.2V per cell and 90% efficiency, 220W would require approximately 38A per cell; two 30A cells give approximately 173W. These are conditional calculations, not certified output limits. Choose cells that meet the manufacturer’s minimum requirements and the power you intend to use. Lower output reduces the calculated current demand, but it does not override the device’s minimum cell rating or establish that a cell is suitable at full output.
GTi, and the two families it is not
GTi and GTX are separate VAPORESSO platforms; GTL belongs to Eleaf. A GTi tank requires its matching GTi coil, not GTX or GTL. A different compatible 510 tank attached to the mod may require another coil family.
The stocked Armour Max kit includes a 6ml VAPORESSO iTank T, which uses GTi coils. Choose replacement glass and tank parts for that exact version. Related: Replacement Coils.
The mod has a 510 fitting, so other tanks will thread on. The coils listed here are for the iTank T.
What to fill it with
For the supplied GTi tank, select a high-VG freebase liquid whose final ratio and nicotine concentration suit the fitted coil and its marked power band. Stocked Nasty Juice and Ultimate Juice bottles include suitable options. When choosing Doozy, distinguish its 70/30 flavours from Cool Mint Seriously Pod Fill at 50/50, and check the final blend after adding shots. Avoid high-strength nicotine salts in high-power DTL use. A six-millilitre tank at high wattage consumes at a rate that surprises people coming from a pod kit. The 120ml bottles are the practical size for a device like this rather than an indulgence.
Modes, charging and weight
The AXON chipset gives F(t), Pulse and ECO modes alongside temperature control for stainless, nickel and titanium. Charging is USB Type-C at 5V and 2A with onboard balance charging, though an external charger remains the better habit for removable cells.
The mod alone, without cells, weighs 186 grams. Add two 21700s, and it is a substantial object, worth knowing before it becomes a pocket device.

The stocked Armour Max kit includes the VAPORESSO iTank T 6ml. The mod takes two suitable matched 21700 cells, or two suitable matched 18650 cells with the supplied adapters. GTi coils fit its supplied tank.
