The Drag S2 runs the PnP X platform, and the useful thing about that platform is that it comes in two flavours. A DTL cartridge and an MTL cartridge, both five millilitres, both fitting the same device, and choosing between them changes what the S2 is for more than any wattage setting does.

Two cartridges, one device
The DTL cartridge opens the draw out and suits low-resistance coils at higher wattage. The MTL cartridge tightens it, and at the same coil it gives a noticeably more restricted pull. They look similar in a listing and behave differently in the hand, so the version matters as much as the part number.
PnP X cartridges are listed under Replacement Pods, with separate compatible coil heads under Replacement Coils. A serviceable pod body can be retained when replacing its coil.
PnP X does not accept an original PnP coil, and an original PnP pod does not accept a PnP X one. Check the marking rather than the device name: VOOPOO have used both platforms across the same product family.
What to fill each version with
For the fitted DTL cartridge, match the selected bottle’s VG/PG ratio and labelled nicotine concentration to the exact coil and operating power. Low-strength freebase options include Nasty Juice, Ultimate Juice 120ml and prepared Doozy E-Liquids 100ml; check the individual bottle and fitted-component guidance.
For a supported low-power MTL setup, compare suitable 50/50 liquids such as ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml and BAR Salts. Select the concentration using the exact fitted cartridge, coil and operating-power guidance.
When changing a cartridge or coil, check that the liquid’s ratio and concentration suit the new setup. Follow the fitted component’s marked power range and avoid high-strength nicotine salts in high-power DTL use.
Power and the chipset
Five to sixty watts, on the GENE.TT 2.0 chipset, with Smart, RBA and ECO modes. Smart reads the coil and sets the wattage; RBA hands it back to you; ECO trims output to stretch the charge.
The cell is internal at 2500mAh, so batteries are not a shelf this device needs. A 0.96-inch colour screen reports what the device is doing.
Keeping it running
Match both cartridges and coils to your device. An integrated-coil cartridge is replaced whole; a separate-coil cartridge accepts its specified replacement coil. Check each component’s condition before replacing it.
Check your fitted cartridge and coil before ordering spares. Buy only the compatible parts needed for your setup.
