The Drag S3 supports compatible PnP X cartridges and coils for different draw styles. Choose an actual supported coil and cartridge, then follow their operating guidance within the device’s 60W limit. Its 0.1–3.0Ω electrical resistance range is a device specification, not a list of available PnP X coils.
This page is about that choice and the parts it implies: not about whether the device is worth having.
The parts it takes
Compatible PnP X DTL and MTL cartridges are listed separately from their press-fit coils. Replacement Pods carry cartridge bodies; Replacement Coils carry supported coil heads. Retain a serviceable compatible part when replacing the other.
Original PnP coils do not fit this platform. The two families are one letter apart in name and entirely separate in fitment, and the mistake is common enough to be worth checking on every reorder.
The documented MTL cartridge version takes a removable 510 drip tip. Match a replacement mouthpiece to that exact fitting; other cartridge versions may differ.
Choosing a supported coil and liquid
For a supported DTL configuration, choose a liquid whose VG/PG ratio and final nicotine concentration suit the fitted PnP X coil and its marked power band. Check each bottle individually: Doozy includes a 50/50 Pod Fill option as well as 70/30 bottles. Avoid high-strength nicotine salts in high-power DTL use. For a supported MTL configuration, match the exact PnP X cartridge and coil with a suitable 50/50 liquid. Choose its labelled nicotine concentration using the liquid, coil and device guidance rather than a fixed 20mg rule. Related: ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml, BAR Salts.
The device’s 0.1–3.0Ω electrical resistance range is not a list of available PnP X coils. Choose an actual compatible coil and follow its liquid and power guidance. The published PnP X coil catalogue includes options from 0.15Ω to 1.0Ω; compatibility and usable power must also be checked for this device.
Power, screen and battery
Five to sixty watts across Smart, RBA and ECO modes. A 0.96-inch colour screen, with a puff counter, reports wattage, resistance and charge.
The 3000mAh cell is built in, so Batteries is not a shelf this device draws on. That page exists for the VOOPOO models that take removable cells, which this is not.
Reordering sensibly
Check the coil and cartridge separately. Replace the coil when needed, and replace the cartridge if damaged or no longer serviceable. Keep exact compatible spares available.
When changing a coil, recheck the liquid’s ratio and concentration against that coil’s marked operating band and the device instructions. A resistance change alone does not require a different bottle or identify the cause of a performance problem.

- Work out which end of the resistance range you are running before you order anything else.
- Recheck the exact coil’s liquid ratio, nicotine concentration and power guidance when changing parts. A resistance change alone does not automatically require a different bottle; suitability depends on the full setup.
- PnP X only. An original PnP coil will not seat, whatever the listing photograph suggests.
- For the documented MTL cartridge, choose a replacement tip matching its 510 fitting. Check other cartridge versions separately.
- Buy coils in multiples. They are the part that fails and the part that stops the device.
Kenya and Nairobi relevance
A device that covers both draw styles well is a practical choice in Kenya, where carrying one kit rather than two is usually the point. Nairobi orders go out same-day, and the rest of the country follows in 1 to 2 business days.
