Flavour profile
Described as juicy watermelon blended with classic bubble gum sweetness, delivering a playful candy-style flavour with a long-lasting aftertaste. Expect playful bubblegum sweetness paired with the juicy freshness of watermelon.
Bubblegum as a flavour is essentially a blend of fruit esters with a soft, slightly powdery vanilla base. That is why it tastes like nothing in nature and why it pairs naturally with a fruit rather than fighting it. Against watermelon, it thickens the sweetness and lengthens the finish, which is exactly what the long-lasting aftertaste in the description refers to.
Device and performance
Confectionery flavours are the most demanding on a coil in any range, and in a disposable you cannot change it. Running the device in Normal mode is the single most effective thing you can do to keep the flavour clean across 24ml.
Who it suits
Sweet-tooth vapers who still want a fruit in front. It is the middle ground between the plain fruit flavours here and Cotton Candy Tugboat T12000, which drops the fruit entirely.
Not the choice for a long working day. A lingering sweet aftertaste is the point of the flavour, and it accumulates.
Nicotine and strength
One strength: 50mg/ml, 5%, as nicotine salt. Heavy sweetness masks nicotine effectively, making this one of the easier flavours here to vape at 50mg.
Charging
USB Type-C. Expect several charges across the life of the device.
Practical notes
Worth knowing about the mouthpiece: it is fixed and cannot be removed for cleaning. If it becomes sticky in a bag or pocket, wipe it with a dry cloth rather than running it under a tap: water in the airway is one of the few things that will kill a device that still has liquid in it.
How it compares in the range
One of four watermelon flavours. Lush Ice Tugboat T12000 ices it, Strawberry Watermelon Tugboat T12000 keeps it light and fruit-only, and Mango Peach Watermelon Tugboat T12000 folds it into a tropical blend. This is the sweet-shop version.
For the same confectionery register in a refillable, Ultimate Salts 30ml carries a Candy Drops sub-line at lower strengths.
Buying and delivery
Buy it for the evening rather than the working day. The aftertaste is the feature,e and it lingers. Vapesoko Nairobi runs same-day delivery across Nairobi and the towns beside it, and 1 to 2 business days everywhere else in Kenya.
The rest of the Tugboat range
Sweet-shop flavours run through several products here, with and without fruit in front. Working out what suits you? Compare across the Tugboat T12000 range and the other puff tiers, or weigh a refillable pod kit against it with nicotine salt e-liquids to match. Same-day delivery inside Nairobi and nationwide shipping to the rest of Kenya.
