Miami Mint is the clearest case in the catalogue of a name doing too much work. On ELFBAR’s American five-thousand-puff bar it is a minty citrus blend, well documented as such. On the Ice King 30000, ELFBAR’s own regional listing pins it to spearmint. On their ten-thousand-puff device, it is described as a plain cool mint with no citrus at all.
Five ELFBAR products carry the name once the Trio and the Ice King Pro are counted, and only three of them come with any description at all, no two of which agree. That is why nothing here names the mint in this one, and why importing a description from another ELFBAR product would be a mistake.
The three dials on a flavour that is mostly temperature
On the fruits in the twenty, the icy dial adjusts a finish. On mint it adjusts the flavour itself, because there is almost nothing behind the cold to fall back on. Wound down it is a gentle, lightly sweet herb; wound up it is colder than anything else on either slate.
