If you own a Sonder Q2, this is the only consumable it uses. Geekvape Z coils are Zeus tank coils and belong nowhere near it.
- Fits
- Geekvape Sonder Q2 Pod Kit 1350mAh 30W
- Geekvape Sonder Q and Sonder Q3
- Geekvape Wenax Q and Wenax Q2
- Geekvape Wenax Q Pro and Wenax Q Ultra
- Geekvape Aegis Hero Q does not fit ✕ Geekvape Sonder U pods and devices, which are a different physical form ✕ Any Zeus tank: Geekvape Z coils are tank coils and have nothing to do with this cartridge ✕ Any UWELL, SMOK, VOOPOO or VAPORESSO device
Not sure it is the right one? Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the pod or cartridge you are replacing rather than of the device, and we will tell you which one it is. The resistance and the capacity are usually printed on the cartridge body or stamped into its base: that marking identifies the part far more reliably than the name of the device it came out of.
The best-documented cartridge in the Vapesoko range
Geekvape does something here that almost no other brand in this category does: they publish a wattage band and a draw style for every resistance, on their own store, next to the part. Twenty-five to thirty watts at 0.4 ohm, eight to twelve at 1.2, with everything in between accounted for.
That sounds like a small thing until you try to buy a UWELL or SMOK cartridge and find the manufacturer publishes only a resistance. Being able to match a cartridge to a device’s output without guessing is the difference between one purchase and three.
Four resistances covering both draw styles properly
The 1.2 ohm at eight to twelve watts is a genuinely tight mouth-to-lung draw and the natural first cartridge for anyone stepping across from a disposable. The 0.8 ohm is what Geekvape themselves call a loose mouth-to-lung: warmer, a little more vapour, and the resistance most people settle on.
At 0.6 and 0.4 ohm you are into restricted lung territory. Those two pull considerably more liquid per puff, which matters for the strength in the bottle rather than for the device.
A note on capacity: Geekvape list resistance and capacity as independent choices, though you may see it claimed otherwise. Their own store does not restrict which resistances come in which size, so treat any such restriction with suspicion.
Eight devices across two Geekvape families
The Sonder and Wenax lines both run this cartridge, plus the Aegis Hero Q. Only the Sonder Q2 is in the Vapesoko range, but the cartridge is the same wherever in Kenya the device came from. Two of those, the Sonder Q3 and the original Wenax Q, are confirmed on other Geekvape pages but missing from the cartridge’s own compatibility list, so that list is incomplete rather than authoritative on its own.
Two fill methods at the same capacity
Two millilitres exists in both a top-fill and a side-fill version. That is unusual, and it is worth checking which one your device came with, because it changes how you refill rather than what goes in.
Three millilitres is side-fill only. The three-millilitre version is the standard one and the one we stock. The two-millilitre sizes exist because UK and EU law requires them.
The Sonder Q3 page states the capacity as three millilitres or two under TPD, which is Geekvape confirming the market split in their own words.
Getting a new cartridge going
Fill it, fit it and give it five minutes. There is no coil to press in; the mesh is sealed into the cartridge, but the cotton still needs to be wetted through before the first draw.
Devices in this family detect the fitted cartridge and set their power within the published band, so on a Sonder Q2 or a Wenax Q there is nothing to configure. On a device that lets you set wattage manually, use the published band for the resistance you have fitted.
What Geekvape will not tell you
For all the detail they publish elsewhere, Geekvape give no cartridge life figure at all, no refills, no millilitres, no puffs. The only durability claim anywhere is an unquantified line about extended pod life on the Sonder Q3 page.
They do publish one measured number worth having: their mesh coil technology gives a twenty-three point seven per cent increase in cloud volume. That is a flavour and vapour claim rather than a longevity one, but it is at least a figure instead of an adjective.
Strength, and how the resistance moves it
Nicotine salt at 50/50, across all four. Twenty milligrams on the 1.2 and 0.8 ohm cartridges, which is where most people arrive from a disposable land, and ten milligrams on the 0.6 and 0.4 because those pull far more liquid per puff.
For the twenty-milligram start, the ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml shelf sells it; the Nasty Burst Nic Salt 30ml range begins at thirty-five for anyone who needs more. Sub-ohm liquid at seventy per cent VG is far too thick for a 1.2 ohm cartridge to handle.
Vapesoko Nairobi delivers the same day inside Nairobi and the towns around it, and in 1 to 2 business days elsewhere in Kenya by courier.
