The resistance and the capacity are usually printed on the cartridge body or stamped into its base: that marking identifies the part far more reliably than the name of the device it came out of.
Five millilitres, and nothing inside it
The Nord 5 replacement pod is a 5ml empty body with a coil socket and side-fill stopper. Capacity does not establish hours between refills; actual consumption depends on the fitted coil, settings and puffing pattern. Monitor liquid and follow the exact instructions.
Sold in packs of three. Replace the reusable pod body and separate coil according to their individual condition and instructions.
The pod and the coil are two separate purchases
The pod arrives empty, with no coil fitted or included. Buy the exact compatible coil separately before using it.
The coils it takes are SMOK RPM 3 Replacement Coils, in either 0.15 ohm for forty to eighty watts or 0.23 ohm for twenty to forty-five. Your original Nord 5 kit shipped with one of each.
This reusable body takes a separate RPM 3 coil. A change in flavour or vapour does not by itself identify which part needs replacing. Check liquid supply, settings, coil seating and seals, and inspect for damage or persistent burning before ordering replacements.
One device, and that is the whole list
Unusually short, and it reads as a warning rather than as a limitation. Nothing else carrying the Nord name takes this pod, in Kenya or anywhere else.
Sharing a coil is not sharing a pod
The Nord GT is the trap here, and it is a subtle one. It is a five-millilitre pod device that runs RPM 3 coils, exactly like the Nord 5. Everything about it suggests the pods should be interchangeable.
They do not. SMOK sell Nord 5 pods and Nord GT pods as separate parts, and each is meant for its own device alone. Two pods can take the same coil and still be different shapes.
RPM 3 coils are used across the Nord 5, Nord GT, RPM 5, RPM 5 Pro, RPM 85 and RPM 100. A shared coil does not establish interchangeable pods: match the exact pod to the device. RPM 5 and RPM 5 Pro share the RPM 5 pod; RPM 85 and RPM 100 also have a shared pod listing.
Setting up a fresh pod
Fit the compatible RPM 3 coil and fill through the pod’s side stopper as instructed, securing the seal. Follow the exact coil and Nord 5 first-fill procedure and specified wait before firing.
Use the fitted RPM 3 coil’s marked operating band. SMOK lists 40–80W for 0.15Ω and 20–45W for 0.23Ω; pod capacity does not establish a longer saturation wait or a required full-pod power ramp.
When the pod itself is finished
Inspect the Nord 5 pod body, fill stopper and coil seating as instructed. Replace damaged or poorly sealing components; no number of coil replacements per pod is guaranteed.
Inspect the pod for cracks, damaged seals and persistent leaks. Appearance alone does not establish the cause of a change or prove that the pod is undamaged. Replace a compromised pod and follow the manufacturer’s inspection and maintenance guidance.
Filling a pod this large
Choose liquid ratio and nicotine concentration for the exact fitted coil, tank or cartridge and operating settings, following manufacturer guidance. A high-output device ceiling does not establish a universal 3mg or 6mg limit, and the term nicotine salt alone does not establish suitability. Check individual bottles rather than treating a whole range as one formula; Doozy includes a 50/50 Pod Fill exception.
Five millilitres also makes a larger bottle the sensible format; the Ultimate Juice 120ml and Nasty Juice 60ml ranges suit the arithmetic better than a 10ml bottle does.
