This is the empty cartridge. If your vape has gone flat or tastes burnt, what you need is a VOOPOO PnP Replacement Coil rather than a pod.
- Fits
- VOOPOO Drag H40 Pod Mod Kit 1500mAh 40W; the PnP Pod II is its cartridge
- VOOPOO Drag H60, Drag H80S and Drag E60, also PnP Pod II
- VOOPOO Drag X and Drag S, the original PnP Pod
- VOOPOO V.SUIT, the PnP MTL Pod
- The PnP Pod Tank, for 510 mods, does not fit ✕ any PnP X device. The Drag S2, Drag S3, Drag X3 and Argus Pro 2 take a magnetic PnP X cartridge instead ✕ of the Drag H40 Pro, which, despite the name, moved to PnP X ✕ . Any TPP tank ✕ . The ITO pods on the Argus G2 and Argus P2, where the coil is sealed in
Not sure it is the right one? Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the pod or cartridge you are replacing rather than of the device, and we will tell you which one it is. The resistance and the capacity are usually printed on the cartridge body or stamped into its base: that marking identifies the part far more reliably than the name of the device it came out of.
The cartridge, not the coil, and why that distinction matters here
A PnP pod is an empty plastic tank with a socket in the base. The coil is a separate purchase that presses into that socket. You replace the coil every week or two as the flavour fades, and the pod itself only when it cracks, clouds or starts to leak, usually several coils later.
That means a pod and a coil are not alternatives to each other. A customer whose vape has gone flat almost always needs a VOOPOO PnP Replacement Coils coil, not a pod. A customer whose vape is leaking or whose plastic has gone milky needs this page.
Five cartridges, and only one of them is current.
The PnP Pod II is the part VOOPOO still make and the one nearly everybody needs. Five millilitres, side filling, sold in twos with a pair of longer drip tips in the box.
The three older cartridges are here because the devices they belong to are still in use. The original PnP Pod at four and a half millilitres served the Drag X and Drag S; the two-millilitre MTL versions served the same devices and the V.SUIT for anyone who wanted a tighter draw.
The fifth is a trap, and it has its own section.
Matching a cartridge to a device
The Drag H40 is the only device in the Vapesoko range that takes a pod from this page, and it takes the PnP Pod II. Everything else listed above is earlier VOOPOO hardware, supported here because plenty of it is still in daily service in Kenya.
The pod VOOPOO themselves label old.
In 2021, VOOPOO released special editions of the Drag X and Drag S with a five-millilitre top-filling cartridge they called the PnP-X Pod. Three years later they launched an entirely unrelated platform called PnP X. The names are one hyphen apart and share nothing else.
VOOPOO have acknowledged the problem in the bluntest way available to them: their own store now titles the 2021 part “PnP-X Pod (Old)” and carries a warning that it is not for the Drag S2 or X2. It takes original PnP coils, from the same family as everything else on this page.
So a listing carrying the hyphenated name alongside a Drag X or a Drag S is describing the old cartridge. A listing that says PnP X and mentions the Drag S2 is the modern one, and that is a VOOPOO PnP X DTL Pod Cartridge 5ml or its mouth-to-lung sibling.
Fitting a fresh cartridge
Press the coil into the base of the new pod before you fill it, not after. Wet the cotton through the coil side ports first, seat the coil, fill through the side port, and let the assembled cartridge stand for five minutes before the first draw.
A new pod on an old coil is a wasted pod. If you are replacing the cartridge because it leaked, replace the coil in the same operation. A coil that has been sitting in a leaking pod has usually taken on liquid where it should not have.
When a cartridge is actually finished
VOOPOO publish no life figure for any PnP pod, so the honest answer is that you replace it on evidence rather than on a schedule. Three things are evidence: the plastic has clouded or crazed, the seal around the fill port no longer grips, or a fresh coil in that pod still leaks or tastes wrong.
Clouding is cosmetic on its own and is caused by the sweeteners and menthol in some liquids. Crazing, fine cracks in the plastic, is not, and a crazed pod will fail without warning.
What goes in it depends entirely on the coil.
The pod itself imposes nothing. Fit a 0.3 ohm coil, and the answer is three milligrams of freebase in a 70/30 base, from the Nasty Juice 60ml or Doozy 100ml shelf. Fit a 1.2 ohm, and you want a 50/50 nicotine salt at twenty milligrams.
One thing the pod does impose: five millilitres is a lot of liquid to commit to a flavour. It is worth being reasonably sure before filling one.
