The cartridge is empty, and the coil is a separate part; whatever some listings say, you want VOOPOO PnP X Replacement Coils alongside it. It is magnetic, too, so it will not screw onto a box mod.
A 2ml version exists for UK and EU markets, where law caps a refillable tank at that size. The 5ml is the standard version and the one we stock.

Not sure it is the right one? Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the pod or cartridge you are replacing rather than of the device, and we will tell you which one it is. The resistance and the capacity are usually printed on the cartridge body or stamped into its base: that marking identifies the part far more reliably than the name of the device it came out of.

Five millilitres of liquid, a magnetic base that drops into place without threading, and a wide bore mouthpiece moulded into the top. This is the direct lung cartridge for the PnP X platform, and every pod mod in the Vapesoko range that runs PnP X takes it.
The airflow is the part people notice. A ring at the top of the cartridge turns through a full three hundred and sixty degrees with a scale line marked on it, so you can find a setting and return to it rather than guessing each time you refill.
Empty, and that is the whole design.
This cartridge does not contain a coil. VOOPOO’s own product title for it is PnP X Empty Pod Cartridge, and the coil is a separate press-fit part that goes into the base.
That distinction is worth labouring over, because PnP X cartridges are often described as having an integrated mesh coil with nothing to buy separately. That is simply wrong, and a customer who believes it will be back within a fortnight wondering why the flavour has gone.
All seven VOOPOO PnP X Replacement Coils resistances fit, right across the range, though on a direct lung cartridge you would rarely go above 0.45 ohm.
The four devices here that take it
Two of these are worth a note. The Drag S2 is where the PnP X platform launched, so an S2 owner has been on this cartridge since the start. The Drag X3 takes a removable battery, which means the cartridge is the only consumable in the device that is not a cell. The five-millilitre version is the standard one and the one we stock, rather than the two.
Magnetic, not threaded, and the tank version exists separately
This cartridge attaches by magnets. There is no 510 thread on its base, so it will not screw onto a box mod, and no adapter makes it do so.
VOOPOO make a 510 version of the same idea, and it is a genuinely different part: the PnP X Pod Tank, which threads onto any standard mod and takes the identical coils. If you own a Drag 5 or another 510 mod, that is the page you want rather than this one.
The reverse mistake is more common. A Drag S3 owner who buys a PnP X pod tank has bought a part that will not attach to their device, even though the coils inside it are correct.
Filling and first use
Press the coil in, wet the cotton, lift the silicone flap on the side and fill. Do not fill past the marked line. The airflow path runs through the centre of the cartridge, and overfilling pushes liquid into it.
Then let it stand. Ten minutes on a 0.15 ohm coil in a five-millilitre cartridge is not excessive, and it is the difference between a coil that reaches its rated hundred millilitres and one that tastes burnt on day two.
How long a cartridge lasts, as opposed to a coil
VOOPOO publish no cartridge life figure. The hundred-millilitre rating they do publish belongs to the coil, and it does not transfer to the plastic housing around it.
In practice, the cartridge outlasts several coils. Replace it when the silicone fill flap stops sealing, when the airflow ring loses its detents, or when the body clouds badly enough to hide the liquid level.
A direct lung cartridge wants a direct lung liquid
Three milligrams of freebase in a 70/30 base. VOOPOO print a VG recommendation on every PnP X coil, and for the sub-ohm resistances it runs from fifty to seventy per cent, so the Doozy 100ml and Ultimate Puff 120ml shortfills sit comfortably inside it.
A nicotine salt in a 0.2 ohm coil at fifty watts is a genuinely unpleasant experience. If you want salt, the mouth-to-lung cartridge is the right part.
