Two things make this the easiest pod kit here to live with. The second is the quiet one, and it is worth more over time. Buy into most pod systems,s and a new generation strands your spare pods. This platform has not done that once.
One pod platform, every generation
VAPORESSO states it directly: every XROS series pod, across COREX 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 and in any resistance, works with every XROS device. That covers the original XROS through to the XROS 6, the Mini, the Nano, the Cube and the Pro.
The consumable here is the VAPORESSO XROS Replacement Mesh Pods pack, with the coil built into the pod. Five resistances exist, from a tight 1.2 ohm to a loose 0.4 ohm, and the device adjusts to whichever you fit.
The airflow slider has three stops, and they matter
A button on the back slides between closed, half, and open. Closed is a tight cigarette draw, half is a loose mouth-to-lung, and open is restricted direct lung, three genuinely different devices from one body.
Combined with five pod resistances, that is fifteen combinations, which sounds like too many until you realise you only ever need to find one. Start closed on a 1.2 or 0.8 ohm pod and open it a stop at a time.
Matching the liquid to the airflow setting
Closed airflow and a high-resistance pod means 50/50 nicotine salt. Open airflow on the 0.4 ohm pod pulls considerably more liquid and delivers more nicotine with it, so twenty milligrams that felt right at 1.2 ohm will feel like too much there. Ten is the setting to match it.

What VAPORESSO publishes, and where they contradict themselves
They publish the battery, the charging rate and time, the pod capacities in both markets, the resistances, and the platform compatibility statement, as full a specification as any pod kit here carries.
They name no chipset in the XROS 5 parameter block, though AXON, the chip they do name on their larger devices, is often assumed to sit in the XROS line as well. And they call the screen a 0.88-inch OLED on their store and a 0.88-inch TFT in their own product guide. Everyone agrees on the size and on what it shows; the panel type is unsettled by the manufacturer’s own pages.
Against the other pod kits here
Against the Geekvape Sonder Q2 Pod Kit 1350mAh 30W, it has more battery, far faster charging, ng and a real screen, in exchange for asking you to pick a power level. Against the SMOK Novo 5 Pod Kit 900mAh 30W, it has nearly double the cell.
VAPORESSO has since launched an XROS 6. It uses the same pods, so buying this one strands nothing.
What comes with it
The kit arrives with a 0.6 and an 0.8 ohm pod, which between them cover most of what a new refillable user will want to try.
The published weight of 73.7g comes from VAPORESSO and has not been independently confirmed. It is heavy for the size and may be a packaged figure and not the device in your hand.
Priming a COREX pod, and when to replace it
Fill through the port, refit the pod, and give it five minutes standing upright before the first draw. VAPORESSO builds a slow-release valve into the fill port, but no valve wets dry mesh. That part is down to you and to a little patience.
VAPORESSO publishes no pod life figure. The practical marker is flavour: a COREX pod tends to fade gradually over a week or two of normal use rather than failing suddenly, and the fade is the cue.
