This is a physically different part from the direct lung cartridge, not the same body with a different airflow insert. It is six millimetres taller, and its drip tip comes off.

The resistance and the capacity are usually printed on the cartridge body or stamped into its base: that marking identifies the part far more reliably than the name of the device it came out of.
A tight draw on a platform built for clouds
PnP X started life as a sub-ohm platform, and this cartridge is VOOPOO’s answer to everyone who did not want that. Same magnetic base, same coil socket, same five millilitres, but taller, with a narrower internal bore and a slim mouthpiece that comes off and can be swapped.
The replaceable 510 drip tip is the detail worth knowing about. Mouth-to-lung vapers are particular about mouthpieces in a way that lung vapers generally are not, and this is the only PnP X cartridge that lets you change one.
The two coils VOOPOO name, and the third that works
VOOPOO list the 0.3 ohm and 0.6 ohm as this cartridge’s coils. That is a curious pairing, because a 0.3 ohm coil at thirty-five watts is not a mouth-to-lung experience by most definitions, and the 0.6 ohm sits right on the boundary.
Their own hardware disagrees with them. The Drag H40 Pro ships with this cartridge fitted with a 0.6 ohm coil and an 0.8 ohm spare in the box, and the 0.8 ohm is the genuinely tight one, rated at twelve to sixteen watts and marked for fifty per cent VG. The published coil list looks stale rather than accurate.
Take it as read that the 0.8 ohm belongs here. It is the mouth-to-lung option on this platform and the one salt users most often fit.
The pod mods it drops into
The same four devices as the direct-lung cartridge, which is the point of a platform. Any of the four bought in Kenya will take either one. A Drag S3 owner can keep one of each on the desk and change the entire character of the device by swapping cartridges rather than coils.
Two cartridges, and how to tell them apart at a glance
Stand them side by side. The mouth-to-lung cartridge is six millimetres taller and has a thin mouthpiece that pulls out; the direct lung cartridge is shorter with a wide bore moulded permanently into the top.
They are not interchangeable bodies with different inserts, whatever a listing implies. VOOPOO publish separate dimensions for each, and the internal airflow path differs, as does the tip.
Neither of them is the part VOOPOO titles “PnP-X Pod (Old)”, which is a 2021 cartridge on the original PnP platform and belongs on the VOOPOO PnP Replacement Pods page.
Setting it up for a tight draw
Fit the coil, wet the cotton, fill through the side flap and wait five minutes- less than the direct lung cartridge needs- because a 0.8 ohm coil holds far less cotton than a 0.2 ohm one.
Then close the airflow most of the way before the first puff. The ring turns through a full circle and mouth-to-lung usually lives in the first quarter of that travel. Opening up from a tight setting is more pleasant than the reverse.
When a mouth-to-lung cartridge is finished
No cartridge life figure is published for this part or any other in the range. A mouth-to-lung cartridge does tend to outlast a direct lung one, simply because far less liquid passes through it and the plastic sees less heat.
The drip tip is the component most likely to go first, and on this cartridge alone that is not a reason to replace anything else.

Fifty per cent VG at twenty milligrams is the concentration most commonly paired with this platform. The BAR Salts 10ml and ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml shelves sell that strength, with ten there if twenty turns out to bite. The ELFLIQ Salts Ice King 30ml range runs stronger at thirty, for anyone the twenty does not hold.
Five millilitres of a twenty-milligram salt is a serious amount of nicotine to commit to one flavour, so try a bottle in a smaller device first if you are unsure.
